The beginning of sliding season has started.

I love Spring! Finally, some Sun and warm weather and I love the start of Baseball season. Sure, I would love to go see the Cubs this summer, but we may just have to settle for the Indians, or Little League! I can't wait to enjoy our weekends as a family and continue to explore the Midwest. I am loving watching Chunky in T Ball. He is getting to be so big and I can't believe he will be starting Kindergarten in the fall. Where did my sweet baby boy go? Oh well, enough of my friends are having little ones this Summer so I will be able to get my new baby fix! I hope everyone is enjoying the weather as much as we are!

Cashews, Cotton Candy, Cupcakes, And Coke

That was what I had for dinner last night. No, that is not what Chunky had for dinner, thus causing a mouthful of money, it is what I had. The Coke is just a given, the Cotton Candy was from Chuck E Cheese, and the cupcakes (chocolate mini cupcakes with yellow frosting to be exact) and cashews were from Target. Why is it that the few times I treat myself to a gourmet food item like cashews, it seems to be Chunky's new favorite food? I will confess, I hid the cupcakes. My child never saw them enter the house or my mouth. I put them up in a high cabinet. Sometimes a mom has to do what a mom has to do! Here is to starting a diet on Monday!
