Five Points Fire Museum
This past weekend we visited The Five Points Fire Museum in town. It used to operate as a working fire station, but now houses 2 antique fire trucks that the kids can play on, old uniforms for the kids to dress up, and lots and lots of bells and sirens. Did I mention how loud the bells were in such a small building. They also had antique fire toys (hundreds of them), old dispatch radios, fire hoses, and historical pictures of the city. It is a great little treasure in the city that we have found. I am sure we will visit often due to Chunky's love of all things police, fire, and paramedic related!
New Orleans transplant, trying to be a good wife, mommy, teacher, friend, and child of God. I eat too much junk food and drink way too much coke, but my love for great food outweighs the thought of my continous need to buy the next size up jeans
