Fluffer Nutters

So the other night I was up way too late and watched John and Kate Plus 8. Well, I guess Kate only feeds her kids organic foods and was going on and on about how she found organic Marshmallow cream and what a treat it would be for the kids to make these so called Fluffer Nutters. When I asked around work, it seemed that I was the only person on the face of the Earth not to have eaten one of these. So for 3 days, I dreamed of gooey fluffiness and finally I have gotten my hands on this yummy goodness. I am sooooo in love with this peanut buttery concoction. Just for the record, before I moved here, I had never heard of Pork Fritters or Sausage and Biscuits. The Midwest can keep those two!

Oh, honey....my mom would not let us have fluffer nutters as kids, but I am guilty of buying marshmallow cream once in a while for that exact reason. Oh, look...I have it in my pantry as we speak. You should have mentioned it last night, I would have whipped you up a sandwich, yum. Another REALLY bad, but oh so good concoction I whipped up a while back...a dollop of PB, dollop of marsh. cream, and mini chocolate chips...mix all together, oh my goodness, it's heaven.

When you say sausage and biscuits, I think you're referring to biscuits and gravy. Mike loves the stuff and gets treated to it when we visit Nonna's at times. I never order it in restaurants or anything, but Nonna and Grumpy's is pretty good. And I did not grow up on Pork Fritters...I think it's a central Indiana thing (I'm from up north, haha). Oh, you're such a Hoosier now, Kristy!

You just had to blog about PB, didn't you? Didn't you?? DIDN'T YOU??? Harumph...

Take your crawdads and gumbo and go back to where you came from! :)

(To anyone who does not know me, I am totally joking, and Kristy knows that I love her deeply, and I will never let her go back home. If she wants to bring her crawdads and gumbo up here, that's fine. However, she's here and she's stuck.) Thank you very much. :)

Oh my gosh, Lindsay's crawdads and gumbo and going back to N'awlins line CRACKED ME UP!!

Lindsay, you can come over to my house (without Ruby) ANY time to have a fluffer nutter, okay?

Kristy, when you gonna make us some gumbo?

Love you both!

Yes....I know you are totally kidding and almost did not post this because of you Lindsay. And as far as cooking....why do you think Dominos knows me on first name basis. If you want authentic New Orleans cooking...go see my aunt! And Amy, you are right. I meant biscuits and gravy. Can you believe they serve those things in fast food chains?

What is a fluffer nutter? And I am a Midwest native... It sounds good. Do you think it's high in cholesterol? (teasing...if it is good...then it probably is)

All these comments just cracked me up!

Emily,
Fluffer Nutter is marshmallow cream and peanut butter together on bread. But I like Amy's idea better of adding chocolate chips to it !

Ok here's the deal ladies,

I don't call them that, but the specs on PBM sandies are this: they are way better for you than PBJ...yes, you read this right. Marshmallows have less sugar than jelly. A few mini-chips never hurt anyone and do make them even more delish. I coined this concoction months ago...Amy's stealin' my thunda.

As for not liking sausage gravy and biscuits-I'm with Linds here...go back to the South traitor!

I'm ok with the not likin' pork fritters deal.

We sooo need to get togther again ladies...Amy can you make us all certificates again? Come on...I'm bein funny;-)
